Margaret is nine years old and she is in Grade Four. She is the third born in a family of five and she stays with her parents in the slums of Dandora: Phase One, in a single roomed house made of iron sheets.

Margaret’s parents are entrepreneurs, they hawk plastic utensils in the slums and they work tirelessly to be able to provide for their children and in which what they earn is only able to cater for their daily bread.

Margaret attends school at High Ridge Baptist Academy. She has a future dream of becoming a teacher and her favorite subject is Kiswahili,

Margaret is the third born in a family of five and her hobby is playing football and washing utensils.

Margaret needs help because she does not learn with ease for she is sent home most of the time for school fees.

Therefore Margaret needs a special hand of help to enable her continue school and through this, life in future can be improved for her and her family.
